The aviation and space museum located in Yesilköy, Istanbul; aims to bridge the gap between the militaristic and civil societies. The form of the building embodies itself from the idea of clashing and integrating two different factors of militaristic and civil approach. The building provides a continuous exhibition space with open, semi-open public areas. Existing historical buildings on the site also becomes a part of the exhibition which the building envelopes or integrates within its boundries by defining a public space.
